Brighter Brunnshög is a demo project of Lighting Metropolis and the first stage of an urban development project in Lund, Sweden. Lund is expanding and developing a european science village based on two research centres. The project initially aims to integrate residents in the development project through an interactive lighting art installation.
I explored how art can be stronger with research and suggested a mixed method approach which combined anthropology and design development. In addition, I examined how how VR experiences can affect user emotion and psychology.

DESIGN PROPOSAL
VR PLAN
The project was realised in VR, and will be exhibited at Kulturenatten 2017 in Lund. In VR, people can control the structure and lighting effect of the tunnel through different interactions. It will allow users to have an immersive experience, and create a sense of ownership over the development by magnifying the interaction between the users and the area. The users will equally become aware of themselves as an important medium between nature and the technology.
