The lighting design for the tunnel considered the shape, materials and the movement of the tunnel. The tunnel is designed based on an origami structure which consists of a number of geometrical elements with different angles. The angles keep changing during the movement of the structure, when opens, breaths and closes.
The material of the surface simulates white anodised aluminium panels with hairline touch for subtle reflectance of the lights. The lighting is designed to create different lighting experiences depending on the viewpoint and time. The constant movement of the tunnel emphasises the dynamic colours and their harmony with the surrounding area.
