Single Serving Floor is a project to determine a floor area that is essential for an individual, and make a contrast between realizable extensiveness and denseness. The floor area is the sum of areas that are occupied by personal items that are in direct contact with the floor. The intent of the work is to arouse sensitivity towards uneasy living and a minimum space for living. The work is an outcome of reinterpreting the lives of young immigrants who earn a living while enduring an uncomfortable small space. It spotlights current housing issues of young people in the big cities, as well as which newcomers

from other countries who haven’t settled down yet.
